Enrollment Agreement

1. Program Dates, Format, and Access Period

Wayfinders Helmspace runs for 12 weeks from its stated cohort start date. Guided Helmspace includes live teen facilitation sessions and five live parent coaching sessions on a published schedule; Self-Directed Helmspace provides the same 12-week curriculum with recorded parent coaching, allowing families to move through the material on their own timeline within the cohort's overall program window. All enrolled families receive access to Google Classroom program materials and the Parent Portal for the duration of the program, plus two additional months of CA(L)M Sound Library access after the program ends (continued access available for $15/month).

2. Tuition and Payment-Plan Obligations

Self-Directed Helmspace is $495, payable in full at enrollment. Guided Helmspace is $1,495 payable in full, or available as a three-payment plan of $525 per installment ($1,575 total). Choosing the payment plan is a commitment to all three scheduled payments; enrollment is not complete, and program access may be paused, if scheduled payments are not made.

3. Fit and Commitment Period

Families have 14 calendar days from the official program start date to determine whether the guided Wayfinders format is a workable fit. Refund requests during this period require good-faith participation in orientation and the opening program activities. After this period, tuition is nonrefundable and payment-plan obligations continue. Full details are in the Enrollment and Refund Policy.

4. Refund, Cancellation, Transfer, and Pause Terms

Refunds are available only during the 14-day Fit and Commitment Period described above and in the complete Enrollment and Refund Policy. After that period, tuition is nonrefundable. Transfers to a future cohort or program credits may be considered in exceptional circumstances at Well In Montclair's discretion, but are not guaranteed. Pausing attendance does not pause a payment-plan obligation unless Well In Montclair agrees in writing.

5. Attendance and Participation Expectations

Families are expected to engage with the weekly curriculum as it is released: attending or viewing sessions, listening to the weekly story, and practicing the tools introduced each week. Consistent participation is what makes the program work — Wayfinders is a process that unfolds over time, not content to consume all at once.

6. Parent Responsibilities

Parents agree to attend their own portion of the program (five parent coaching sessions, live or recorded depending on pathway) and to maintain home-based supports that reinforce what their teen is learning. For teens ages 12–14, parents agree to provide direct scaffolding, including listening to the weekly story together. For teens ages 15–18, parents agree to remain involved and available even as their teen works more independently.

7. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to attend or view weekly sessions, engage with the weekly story, and make a good-faith effort to try the tools introduced in everyday life. Toolkit building, and the optional challenges and badges associated with it, support this process but are not mandatory for program completion.

8. Group Support vs. Individual Coaching or Therapy

Wayfinders is a facilitated group program. It is not individualized coaching, case management, or therapy, and enrollment does not create an individual clinical or coaching relationship between a facilitator and a specific teen beyond the group setting. Families who want dedicated one-on-one support may access optional, separately arranged individual sessions with Wayfinders professionals (executive-function coaching, IEP consulting, integrative nutrition, or adjunctive acupuncture and constitutional support through Well in Montclair).

9. Limits of Facilitator Monitoring and Feedback

Facilitators observe and support engagement during group sessions and provide feedback appropriate to a group program. Facilitators do not provide continuous individual monitoring outside of scheduled sessions, do not review or grade individual work beyond what is built into the group curriculum, and are not responsible for tracking a specific student's progress outside the group setting unless a separate individual arrangement has been made.

10. Google Classroom and Technology Requirements

Program materials are delivered through Google Classroom. Enrolled families need a device with internet access and a Google account (or the ability to create one) to access materials, and, where applicable, access to the Parent Portal and CA(L)M Sound Library. Wayfinders is not responsible for a family's personal internet, device, or account issues that limit access to these platforms.

11. Optional Status of Enrichment, Challenges, and Badges

Toolkit building is part of the learning process built into the core curriculum. The challenges and Toolkit Building Badges associated with it are optional enrichment intended to motivate engagement — they are not required for program completion and do not affect a family's standing in the program.

12. Group Conduct, Privacy, and Recording Rules

Families agree to treat other participants, facilitators, and shared group spaces with respect and to maintain the privacy of what other families share during sessions. Live sessions may be recorded for enrolled families' catch-up and review purposes; recordings are for the personal use of enrolled families only and may not be redistributed, published, or shared outside the enrolled household without written permission.

13. Scope Limitations and Emergency/Clinical Disclaimers

Wayfinders is an educational and skill-building program. It is not a substitute for medical care, mental-health treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services. Wayfinders and its facilitators do not diagnose or treat medical or psychiatric conditions. If your family is experiencing a medical or safety emergency, contact 911 or an appropriate emergency or crisis service immediately rather than a Wayfinders facilitator.

14. Communication and Response-Time Expectations

Facilitators and Well In Montclair make reasonable efforts to respond to family communications within a few business days. Wayfinders is not a same-day or emergency communication channel; for time-sensitive concerns, families should use appropriate direct channels (school, medical provider, or emergency services) rather than waiting on a program response.

15. Consent for Parent and Student Progress Check-Ins

By enrolling, parents consent to periodic check-ins from facilitators regarding their teen's participation and general engagement with the group program, for the purpose of supporting the family's experience in Wayfinders. These check-ins are programmatic in nature and are not individualized clinical assessments.

16. Acknowledgment That Results Are Not Guaranteed

Wayfinders is designed to build executive-function skills and nervous-system regulation capacity through structured practice over 12 weeks. Individual outcomes vary based on participation, practice, and each teen's and family's circumstances. Enrollment does not include any guarantee of specific results, grades, diagnoses, or behavioral outcomes.
