Wayfinders™ · A CA(L)M™ Family Program
Enrollment and Refund Policy
This policy explains what enrolling in Wayfinders means, the Fit and Commitment period, and how tuition, refunds, transfers, and payment plans work. It applies to both Self-Directed Helmspace and Guided Helmspace.
Issued by Well In Montclair. Last updated August 25, 2026.
1. What Enrollment Reserves
Enrolling in Wayfinders reserves your family's place in a facilitated cohort with a fixed group size, a defined program start date, and a shared weekly curriculum. Because a cohort seat is held for your family from the moment you enroll — and because facilitator time, materials, and Google Classroom access are prepared per enrolled family — tuition obligations begin at enrollment, subject to the Fit and Commitment period below.
2. The 14-Day Fit and Commitment Period
Families have 14 calendar days from the official program start date to determine whether the guided Wayfinders format is a workable fit for their teen and family.
- Refund requests made during this 14-day window require good-faith participation in orientation and the opening program activities. This means attending or viewing the orientation materials and beginning the first sessions as intended, so that both the family and Wayfinders can fairly assess fit.
- To request a refund during the Fit and Commitment period, contact your facilitator or Well In Montclair directly, in writing, before the 14-day window closes.
- Refunds granted under this policy are issued to the original form of payment. Payment-plan families who withdraw during this window owe no further installments once the refund is processed.
3. After the Fit and Commitment Period
Once the 14-day Fit and Commitment period has closed, tuition is nonrefundable, and any active payment-plan obligation continues on its original schedule regardless of continued attendance. Enrolling in a payment plan is a commitment to complete all scheduled payments, not a session-by-session purchase.
Transfers to a future cohort or program credits toward a different Wayfinders offering may be considered in exceptional circumstances — for example, a documented medical or family emergency, a facilitator-side cancellation, or a comparable hardship. Requests are reviewed individually and are not guaranteed. There is no obligation to grant a transfer or credit outside the Fit and Commitment period, and approval is at the sole discretion of Well In Montclair.
4. Payment Plans
Guided Helmspace may be paid in full ($1,495) or through a three-payment plan of $525 per installment ($1,575 total). The payment-plan total reflects the cost of extending payments over time and is not eligible for a discount to match the pay-in-full price.
Enrolling in the payment plan authorizes three scheduled charges through the Square payment link provided at checkout. If a scheduled payment fails, Well In Montclair will attempt to contact the family to update payment information; continued non-payment may result in a pause in program access until the account is current.
5. Program Access and Format
Enrollment provides access to the Wayfinders program materials in Google Classroom, live or recorded sessions depending on the selected pathway (Self-Directed or Guided Helmspace), and the family's Parent Portal, for the duration of the 12-week Helmspace program plus any stated post-program access window (for example, the two additional months of CA(L)M Sound Library access described on the program page). Access is personal to the enrolled family and is not transferable to another household without written approval.
6. Pausing or Withdrawing After the Fit and Commitment Period
Families who need to step back from active participation after the Fit and Commitment period has closed should contact their facilitator as early as possible. A pause in attendance does not pause payment-plan obligations or extend program access unless Well In Montclair agrees in writing to a specific accommodation.
7. Cohort or Facilitator Changes
If Well In Montclair cancels a cohort before it begins, or is unable to complete a cohort once started, enrolled families will be offered a full refund of amounts paid or a transfer to a future cohort, at the family's choice. This is the only circumstance in which a refund is offered automatically after the Fit and Commitment period.
8. How to Request a Refund, Transfer, or Credit
All requests under this policy must be submitted in writing to Well In Montclair. Include your family's name, enrollment date, cohort, and the reason for the request. Requests are reviewed and responded to within a reasonable timeframe, and any approved refund is processed to the original form of payment.
9. Relationship to the Enrollment Agreement
This policy is incorporated into, and should be read alongside, the complete Wayfinders Enrollment Agreement, which families review and affirm at checkout. Where this policy and the Enrollment Agreement address the same topic, the more specific terms of this policy govern refund, transfer, and payment-plan questions.
10. Questions
Questions about this policy, a specific enrollment, or a refund request can be directed to Well In Montclair, the legal entity operating the Wayfinders program, before or at any point during enrollment.
